Soares & Simões, Lda. is one of the most prominent companies in the productions of springs in Aveiro.
Our activity focuses on the productions of all types of technical springs, hooks, rings and rollings for the industry’s sector, including tension, torsion, compression, zig zag, shaped wires and ribbon springs.
Soares & Simões, a leading company in the manufacture of zig zag springs, reduced 50 tons of CO2 emissions with an investment in 220 solar panels that allows it to produce a total of 61,000 kilowatts per hour per year. In addition to the energy investment, the company also invested in improving air quality within its manufacturing facilities with the application of air filters
and equipment that allow an improvement of approximately 70% of the breathable air compared to traditional manufacturing processes.
